Here’s the thing – I like Warner Miller. He’s talented. I also get that it’s a pandemic and there aren’t as many roles as there would be if there wasn’t a pandemic, because everything can’t open up.
I just wish that Warner Miller wasn’t taking a role on the shit show that is Manifest. Yes, I know, I know – some of you are going to come for me and you’ll have your words to say. But please come back to me when the show actually gets good again, and if it does, I will eat my words.
I don’t see that happening. But hey, I know if people disappear for years, they were probably on a time traveling airplane that someone mistook for a dragon. Who knew?
Anyhow, Miller took the role of Grace’s estranged brother Tarik, who reluctantly agrees to help the Stone family when they have no one else to turn to. Umm… that’s your brother! Shouldn’t he be one of the first people you can turn to?
Tarik probably got tired of Grace whining like a two year old every day.
This show is just dogma tossed in your face, disguised as people that came back after a flight disappeared. ONLY – the tail of their plane was found in an ocean – AFTER it had brought them all back and exploded nowhere near where it was found, Zeke came back from the dead like he was Jesus, Ben and Saanvi are boring and Ben is one of the most under developed characters on this show, even though he’s like the focal point of every episode.
Yup, I’m banking this is gonna be like Lost and it’s all a damn dream at the end.
Either way, it’s still a shit show that will torture us in 2021.
