Only one day left until the premiere of Chicago Fire Season 9, Chihards! November 11th cannot come soon enough! It seems like forever since we’ve seen our favorite firefighters and paramedics from Firehouse 51, and all this waiting has got us thinking about what we’d like to see happen in this upcoming season.
Stellaride Engagement

Stellaride is one of my all-time favorite One Chicago couples. They are just so adorable. We’ve seen Severide mature and become a man that Stella deserves, and they both bring out the best in each other. They are each other’s better halves, on and off duty, and I’m ready to see this couple take the next step.
More Brettsey

I realize this may be an unpopular opinion, but I actually really like Brettsey and want to see more of them. Brett and Casey have really good chemistry in my opinion, and they both seem to really get each other. I loved how they were both there for each other these past couple seasone. While I would love for their relationship to turn romantic, I don’t necessarily NEED romance to be the end result for them. I just want more Brettsey on my screen. But just to be clear, I definitely ship Brettsey.
No More Heartbreak For Sylvie Brett

Sylvie is one of my favorite Chicago Fire characters, and she went through so much in season 8. From her birthmom dying shortly after coming back into her life, to her failed engagement to Chaplain Kyle, to yet another one of her partners leaving, the girl deserves a break! I love Sylvie and just want her to be happy. Manifesting only positive vibes for Sylvie Brett in Season 9.
A Love Interest for Gallo

I love Blake Gallo. He deserves all the happiness in the world. That being said, I want to see him find a girl. Him and Violet were adorable last season, and I want him to have something like that again. I got the vibes last season that him and Violet were just having fun and not really all that serious. I’d like to see him have a serious relationship with someone. He deserves that.
More Capp and Tony

Capp and Tony are hilarious! I absolutely love capp’s one-liners. Capp and Tony help provide a much needed comedic relief to the series. I understand that not every character can be a main character, but these guys contribute a lot to the show in my opinion. I would really like to see more of them in season 9.
