Filthy Rich episode “2 Corinthians 3:17” started off with an 1820 funeral, which no one really cared about. In my opinion, all of of the episode followed the same way. I’m becoming less engaged with the storylines as the episodes progress.
2 Corinthians 3:17
Anyway, let’s start talking about the episode. I have conflicting feelings with Becky. I think she is a bitch, but she is obviously confused about what she wants and is trapped in her marriage. She is denying her feelings and who she really is and that has to be hard on her. I’m just conflicted. I did get a small laugh from Rose’s reaction when Ginger invited Becky to spend the day with them. She clearly doesn’t like her much either.
Rose on the other hand is having a tough day. Jason said he was leaving and he wasn’t coming back. Rose was obviously heartbroken and in love with him. I was sad for her because I like Rose. Then Margaret had to go and basically say that Rose’s clothes weren’t very good and were to racy. Just let the girl live Margaret. Maybe she doesn’t want to be held to the same values you are pretending to hold. I’m also not sold on the fact that Margaret didn’t know anything about what Eugene and the 1820 were really up to.
Overall, in “2 Corinthians 3:17” I’m most proud of Rose and Ginger. If you have read any of my previous reviews you shouldn’t be surprised really. They are my favorite characters and this episode they took a step towards supporting each other and had a fashion show. They are my only real bright spot in this series.
There are only a couple episodes of Filthy Rich left before the series finale and to be honest, I’m looking forward to the ending.
Filthy Rich airs on Monday’s on Fox at 8:00 P.M.
