THE BOMBSHELL DROPPED
It’s Rose and Mark’s wedding day and also a day for everything to go down in a blaze. Literally. Eric confessed to what actually happened with Luke and we were surprised to discover that he is an FBI agent. Eugene is alive and well, so that blasts all our previous theories to hell. He starts out with being with Ginger before he learns that Rose is getting married. Shockingly, he wants to be there for her. I commend him for that.
Also, they should have expanded more on the conspiracy of Eugene actually being alive. They left a lot to be desired with that. You just didn’t get a lot of emotion from learning it was Franklin that tried to have him killed. It was just meh. That shouldn’t be the feeling you get when a bombshell like that is dropped.
Watching everyone’s expression that Eugene is alive was fantastic. Margaret was floored – she was so pissed and Eugene was so smug sitting at that table it was great. I loved his emotional moment with Rose, she deserved that and more. Then came the biggest bombshell of all, Becky’s baby was EUGENE’S. Wtf???
Well, that was it for Filthy Rich. With “1 Corinthians 3:13”, the show is officially over as it wasn’t picked up for a full season or renewed for a second. The show wasn’t as engaging as when it first aired, but it had its moments. What did you think of the series finale?
Filthy Rich airs on Monday’s on Fox at 8:00 P.M.
