If you haven’t watched Bridgerton yet, then we feel for you. It’s definitely a binge worthy series, with lots of angst, twist and turns, and ummm… some pretty hot sex scenes. We have to admit that they made us blush a little, but in the best way possible.
Some of our significant others may have been in for a treat after watching the series, if you catch what my obviously over-sharing mouth is saying.
But that being said, we know that sex scenes are highly choreographed and not as sexy if you watch them being made.
But we’re always interested in what celebrities have to say about the making of these sex scenes. After all, they are the ones in them.
Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne in the Netflix hit, talked about the Duke and Duchesses’ sex scenes and what went into filming them.
“My first-ever scene was in episode six, where Simon is going down on Daphne,” Phoebe said in an interview with Grazia. “And it was so great, because it felt safe and fun: you choreograph it like a stunt, or a dance. It’s crazy to me that that hasn’t been there in the past. I’ve done sex scenes before that I can’t believe I did: it was only five or six years ago, but it would not be allowed now.”
She added, “I love her [Daphne’s] coming-of-age story and her sexual awakening. I love seeing them female gaze and watching her figure it out for herself. She’s a late bloomer, but it’s not like she can google it.”
If you haven’t watched Bridgerton, we suggest you do. It’s pretty damn steamy (in the best way).
