Well Hello Grown-ish fans! This week finds our girl Zoey lovesick for Aaron after the finally sleep together, although it’s not at all how she imagined how their relationship would be. Zoey! Please come down from that could you are on, because HELLO! Aaron has a girlfriend, and doesn’t plan on leaving her anytime soon. This is why you don’t cheat and you never become the side piece. Sigh. Zoey, I thought you knew better than this. Ana is upset with Zoey’s choices but only because she thinks Javi is cheating on her. I don’t think he is, because that would be way to obvious. Maybe it’s an estranged parent that keeps texting him? His mother maybe? Hopefully we find out soon. Meanwhile, Jazz is sad but won’t admit to anyone, she knows she blew the Olympic trials and won’t be going to Tokyo with Sky. I was sad for her, as was the entire friend group, but we still gotta support our girl Sky, so cheers girl! You worked hard and now it’s paying off, its’ just too bad the one person you have trained with for 13 years to achieve this dream, isn’t going with you. A lot went down on last night’s Grown-ish, so let’s get to it shall we.
The Beautiful Ones

Zoey and Aaron really do care for one another and I totally get why Aaron moved on with Rochelle when Zoey went on tour with Joey Badass. BUT, I could see this love triangle coming from a mile away, what I didn’t see was Zoey willing to sleep with Aaron even though he was still with his girlfriend. GAH! Both of them are dumb and both of them are cheaters. It sucks too, because I will always root for Zoey in this hot mess they have created, but at this point the repercussions are gonna be serious. Either Rochelle finds out and whoops Zoey’s ass, OR everyone will just continue to live this lie. I don’t even like Rochelle! But I felt bad because she is in a messed up situation and doesn’t even know it, Aaron is an ass for acting like everything is chill and even telling Zoey, it was a mistake and he is NOT breaking up with his girlfriend for her. Damn! That hurt. Aaron keeps reminding Zoey that he cannot trust her with his heart, because the last time she ran off and went touring the world while he was still back waiting for her at Cal-U. He sounds unsupportive of your dreams Zoey, and more importantly in this moment he sounds like an asshole and not the guy you meet three years ago. Move on girl, before it’s too late.
Meanwhile, Ana thinks Javi is cheating on her because he keeps getting texts from someone named “Somebody” and she is convinced it’s another girl and he is sleeping with this girl. No one believes Javi is a cheater, though and the best part is when both Jazz and Sky clap back at Ana and say in union “Bitch, what is her name?” I choked on my popcorn and said to myself, I love those two. Always 100% real. Ana is insecure and that has been her character trait since day one. Remember when she got drunk at the freshman party because she thought no one would like her? I need her to enter into some couples therapy or self-therapy. Help yourself girl, before you help others. Right now Ana seems like a disaster, and like college has taught her nothing. I expect more from you Ana! Get it together!
Twinning

What happens when you train for something your entire life and succeed, only to leave your best friend behind while you follow your dreams? Sky and Jazz have trained together, cried together, talked shit together and have always done everything together until now. Jazz is getting left behind and she is embarrassed, sad, and angry at herself is what she tells Sky. I felt horrible ya’ll, I mean they are twins and they share EVERYTHING in life, but not anymore, and this will most definitely change their dynamic from now on. Look I know the writers needed a gut punch storyline, and trust me, this one does a fantastic job of hitting you in the feels, BUT, DAMN IT! When Jazz started crying, I started crying. I want them both to succeed in life and I hope with this new change in life paths, that Jazz can find her own stride and succeed in a manner that is separate from her sister. Everyone gathers around the kitchen table to send Sky off to the Olympics, and tears are shed and best wishes and congrats are given to her. Blessings and prayers and most importantly sisterly LOVE, which is what Sky needed the most. I love this friendship and I love how these humans continue to support each other, even when they don’t always agree with one another’s choices. That’s what friendship is. That is what family is. Next week is the spring finale and I will be here for all the drama. Until next week guys!
