I don’t like to define any woman by a man, but when it comes to Sex & The City, I can’t imagine Carrie without Mr. Big. I know that she’s her own woman and that Carrie is a powerhouse, but after fighting so hard to get to her happy place with him, I just feel like with reboot, And Just Like That…, Carrie deserves her Mr. Big.
It has been confirmed that Chris Noth is returning for the reboot and my fangirl heart could not be happier.
“I’m thrilled to be working with Chris again on And Just Like That…,” said Executive Producer, Michael Patrick King. “How could we ever do a new chapter of the Sex and the City story without our Mr. Big?”
And Just Like That…, “follows Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) navigating the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.”
HBO’s Sex and the City was created by Darren Star and is based on Candace Bushnell’s book. Parker, Davis and Nixon will executive produce with Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky, John Melfi and King.
The series is set for 10 episodes on HBO Max and is set to start filming this summer.
