Sex and The City is one of those television shows that shaped a generation and then continued to shape the generations that came after it. For me, it helped shape my fascination with New York City and the dreams that it held.
And living here, the dreams that it still holds for me.
Knowing that the next chapter in the story is coming makes me excited, because I feel like we all need that hope that New York gives. And hey, say what you want, but Sex and The City continues to give us something – hope for love, hope for dreams, hope for friendships.
But as we all age, life changes. The way we navigate these things change. And watching Miranda, Carrie, and Charlotte navigate these changes is something that we are looking forward to.
The next chapter, AND JUST LIKE THAT…, is going to be amazing. The new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series “Sex and the City,” from executive producer Michael Patrick King, follows “Carrie” (Sarah Jessica Parker), “Miranda” (Cynthia Nixon) and “Charlotte” (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
HBO Max announced this morning that the series will debut with two episodes on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9 on HBO Max. The following eight episodes will premiere weekly on subsequent Thursdays.
The series stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis. It also includes previously announced cast members Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, and Evan Handler.
