With Arrow preparing to take its curtain call in season 8, the emotions were heavy during the show’s final San Diego Comic-Con panel, as the cast reflected on wrapping the show that established the Arrowverse.
For Juliana Harkavy, who joined the show in season 5, she wants to ensure that Arrow‘s finale leaves fans with the kind of ending that will live on long after the show wraps.
“I just want to do our fans proud,” she told us. “I just want them to feel that they have closure and the show has a legacy that speaks to people. I think the legacy of the show is what I want to get out of it — something strong and impactful that really puts a nice button on the end of the story and makes people feel better.”
While Harkavy doesn’t know how Dinah’s story ultimately ends, she does want Dinah to really find her place in the world.
“She’s coming into herself,” Harkavy teased about Dinah’s story, “And because she’s always been so torn and there’s always been this duality between ‘am I a vigilante, am I a police officer?’ I hope that she sort of settles into that resolve and she finds her place.”
