It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s… two Supermans?
In the upcoming Arrowverse crossover, Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as Superman. But Brandon Routh will also play the Man of Steel, just as he did in the 2006 film, Superman Returns.
Routh will reportedly play Superman/Clark Kent in one “time frame,” while Hoechlin will play him from another.
This year’s Arrowverse crossover — the last one to feature Arrow, which ends its run after a 10-episode season 8 — will be the biggest to date, even being set up from last year’s crossover.
Crisis on Infinite Earths will consist of five parts, including Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and new series Batwoman.
The first three parts of the crossover will air in December 2019, while the final two, which includes Legends, will air in early 2020, after the mid-season break.
