Craig Pearce has a lot of reasons why we should watch Will, when it premieres tomorrow on TNT. And, to be honest, we didn’t even need that much convincing in the first place.
When we heard about Will we were – period pieces, check, Shakespeare, check, pretty men, check, punk rock and drama, check.
Then we got to attend to premiere of the show, and we went from oh, this might be interesting, to new obsession please I need it now give it to me.
And it’s not just because of the pretty faces. (Though they help, oh, do they help. We’ve got eyes)
For those of you who know nothing about the show, here’s the official description:
“A drama about the lost years of young William Shakespeare after his arrival to London in 1589 — when theatre was like rock and roll and a young man with a dream changed the world with his words.”
During the premiere event we got to interview executive producer/show-runner Craig Pearce and he had a lot to say about the show, what he wanted it to be and the vibe they were going for.
