Here’s the thing about Henry Cavill, I have a love/hate relationship with him. I love the way his abs look, but I hate most of the things that come out of his mouth.
That being said – I do love Henry as an actor and we all know that I have a thing for Netflix – so I am excited to see him come to Netflix. The actor has signed on to The Witcher, Netflix’s TV-series adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s fantasy novels.
Bring Henry to my screen.
The basics – Henry will play Rivia, a monster hunter struggling to find his place in the world. So… you know – life for all of us (I mean really – isn’t chasing a paycheck, chasing monsters). Destiny of course interferes – he’s thrown towards a powerful sorceress and a young princess who of course have a secret (cause who the hell doesn’t now a days) and they all need to navigate the world together.
Of course sh*t’s gonna go down – but hey. That’s TV and that’s drama.
The Witcher will have 8 episodes, with Lauren Schmidt Hissrich (Marvel’s Daredevil, Power) will serve as showrunner and executive-produce with Alik Sakharov (Black Sails).
The series received a straight to series order in 2017.
Are you excited to binge Henry?
