These days, The CW Network might as well be referred to as the DC TV Network as it currently houses four superhero dramas.
Well, the Arrowverse is about to get bigger with the addition of a new DC property.
EW reports that Greg Berlanti’s Black Lightning series has been ordered to pilot over at The CW.
If a series order is given to Black Lightning that would Berlanti five superhero dramas on The CW. And if Riverdale gets picked up for a second season, that would give him six shows total on the network.
Here’s the synopsis for the series:
Jefferson Pierce made his choice: he hung up the suit and his secret identity years ago, but with a daughter hell-bent on justice and a star student being recruited by a local gang, he’ll be pulled back into the fight as the wanted vigilante and DC legend — Black Lightning.
Are you excited for another DC property? Or do you think The CW is getting overcrowded with superhero dramas?
