It is with a heavy heart that I must warn you, tonight’s episode is the penultimate of the season. With that, you should probably prepare yourself. I didn’t expect a lot of what happened in this one. But it does set up one hell of a final show down for the finale.
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves though. We’ll talk finale next week. Right now, let’s dive into this week’s hints!
The Triangle Is Heating Up
As expected, Lyta’s return does throw a wrench into the development between Seg and Nyssa. Fans of both pairs are probably going to be left wondering who we should be rooting for after this week. Part of me just wants to claim Team Seg though and be done with all the drama at this point. While it’s true that both ladies are extremely worthy of our hero, this week my allegiance may be a little more visible than last week’s.
A confession that will undoubtedly change things
One character makes a huge confession. Although it’s not a surprise, the way it comes out will make you gasp. Because it was actually pretty great. And relatable. I know I’ve been there.
This shouldn’t surprise anyone. It’s the second to last episode of the season. It’s about time these characters reunited with each other.
They don’t got ’em
The Resistance underestimates their opponent and it causes serious strife. This is a mistake that they may not be able to come back from.
Expect the Resistance to take a hit
Since it is the penultimate episode, it was bound to happen. The heroes needed to get more motivated before the big showdown in the finale and I can’t think of a better way to get them there. Not gonna lie though. It was super hard to watch. My heart still hurts.
This is one of the most gruesome episodes of the series
I’m not usually a fan of gore but this gore is well placed so I don’t mind it. At least it serves a purpose.
Homages all around
Using two very specific styles of film-making, the show pays homage to popular video games like Fortnite and the man himself, Zack Snyder. It’s actually pretty dope.
Krypton airs tonight at 10PM only on Syfy!
