At San Diego Comic-Con the cast and creators of Legends of Tomorrow spoke to the press in anticipation of Season Four, premiering in late October. Executive Producer Keto Shimizu and actor Dominic Purcell said the show has carved its own niche in the Arrowverse.
“It’s becoming not really like the Arrowverse. It is it’s own little thing now,” said Purcell, who plays Rogue-turned-Legend Mick Rory.
Since the Season Three finale, fans have been excited about the addition of warlock John Constantine (Matt Ryan) as a series regular. Shimizu warned that Constantine won’t just become a good little teammate. “Constantine isn’t just going to fall in line” with the Legends, she said.
Could we see fireworks between Mick and John? Judging from Purcell’s thoughts, we just might.
Check out the interview below as Purcell and Shimizu talk about how Legends has already “Jumped the Shark,”what kind of restrictions CW has for the show and of course…BEEBO.
Legends of Tomorrow returns to the CW on Monday, October 22 at 9 p.m./8 Central.
