When we last left Legends of Tomorrow, our group of Legends had faced off against and defeated the Legion of Doom while also managing to break time in the process. Now we’re left wondering, what next?
We spoke with Legends of Tomorrow star Brandon Routh at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this month, where he teased what we can expect from our Legends gang moving forward in season 3.
While traveling through time and meeting and facing off against recognizable and new faces in history is fun, one of the things that established Ray’s character was his desire to change the world through his inventions. That’s something that has gotten lost in the whole time travel of it all. But it sounds like we’re going to get back to that in season 3.
“I think we’re going to get back to Ray’s inventing roots this season, which I’m excited about” Routh said. “It’s kind of how Ray started on Arrow was being an inventor and a scientist, and that’s where a lot of his passion grew out of – bettering the world through his inventions through Palmer Technology, and we’ve lost that a little bit.
“This is real life stuff that is life changing in many ways, and we’re going to explore that more,” Routh continued, “Ray is going to have to figure out if he thinks he can actually should affect change through his creations.”
