I am not one for Christmas movies, but it turns out that I am about to be. Why? Because Melissa McCarthy has signed on for one.
I don’t think that I could be anymore excited.
That means that I am going to be laughing and I am all ready for that.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, McCarthy has signed on to star in Margie Claus – which her husband Ben Falcone will direct. Guys, as if life couldn’t get any better, it’s a musical. Yes, that’s right, we’re going to get to see McCarthy sing.
I AM SO EXCITED.
You know that McCarthy and her husband really believe in the project, because they are also producing for their On the Day production company.
What’s the story about? According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Santa Claus goes missing while delivering presents on Christmas Eve. His sweet wife Margie Claus must then put together an unlikely rescue team and set off from the North Pole for the first time in decades to rescue Santa and save Christmas.”
The movie is set to hit theaters November 15, 2019.
