When it comes to TV we can’t get enough of it. Here at Fangirlish, we pride ourselves in covering a diverse and eclectic range of TV shows – and with that comes TONS of moments that made us feel varying degrees of feelings. However, only the best of those can make this list. So, without further ado – here are Fangirlish’s “Best TV Moments of 2018”.

Timeless – The Season 2 Finale Cliffhanger

Tumblr: lyattgifs

Here at Fangirlish, we go crazy for Timeless. It’s the little show that could. Season 2 of Timeless was beautiful on its own, but “Chinatown” – that final MOMENT of the episode – was our favorite of the entire bunch.

We know what you’re thinking. As noted above, the whole season has MANY superb moments. I mean we WILL NEVER STOP gushing over the Lyatt scenes in “Hollywoodland.” Lyatt has our hearts until the end of time. However, that finale cliffhanger had our mouths hanging open, screaming at NBC on social media to #RENEWTIMELESS.

While the renewal didn’t come – lest we tried and we haven’t given up hope – we did get a 2-hour holiday special to help bring us fans some closure from the cliffhanger. So, tune in to NBC on December 20 at 8/7c to get your closure, Timeless fans! LET’S SAVE RUFUS, and oh, keep doing you Timeless fandom. Without you, we wouldn’t have gotten this!

Let’s keep up the fight for season 3! #SaveRufus and #SaveTimeless!

The Resident – Conrad Tells Marshall He Loves Him

Tumblr: kbbey

Conrad Hawkins is many things. A brilliant doctor, a caring boyfriend, a good friend to many – but Conrad always seems to be guarded around his father. That changed in “The Dance” – the midseason finale of The Resident. The entire episode was amazing and left our jaws on the floor with the lives of Marshall, Conrad’s father, and Julian Booth, a former medical device representative played by Jenna Dewan, on the line.

However, what really made this episode is the breakthrough of Conrad telling Marshall he loves him. Since we’ve known Conrad, he’s had his walls up about the death of his mother, not even his girlfriend, Nic, can break through. And you know, we love us some Conic!

Finally, in this episode, the walls begin to fall down and Conrad and Marshall have a talk about what really went down the night his mother died and the events leading up to it. It ends with Conrad telling Marshall he loves him. Is this going to be all for nothing when the show returns from hiatus in January? We can’t wait to find out!

The Resident returns from winter hiatus on January 14, 2019, at 8/7c on Fox.

NCIS: Los Angeles  – Season 10 Premiere

Tumblr: dominicvail

The entire season 10 premiere of NCIS: Los Angeles had us on the edge of our seats as we waited on baited breath to find out what was going to happen to Callen, Sam, Kensi, and Deeks. Well, the episode delivered big time!

The team survived their traumatic ordeal with the Mexican cartel, but not without a few scrapes and bruises along the way. Callen gets a punctured lung and a few broken ribs, Sam’s leg wound opens back up, and Deeks is unconscious with a brain injury. They eventually got out of the predicament they were in thanks to the local ATV rental guy.

But, what really got us were the Densi feels! This episode is full of them and it helps Deeks and Kensi evolve in their relationship! Before all this, Densi was unraveling before our eyes, but this episode changes that scenario and we are screaming with joy!

The closure to a heart-stopping cliffhanger and the Densi feels are what put “To Live And Die In Mexico” on our list of Top TV Moments.

NCIS: Los Angeles will return from winter hiatus on January 6, 2019, at 9/8c on CBS.

The Big Bang Theory – Sheldon & Amy Get Married

Tumblr: tbbt-faves

For longtime viewers of The Big Bang Theory, the wedding of Sheldon and Amy, or Shamy, is 8 years in the making. It’s been a slow-burn, but very much worth it when our favorite TV scientists tied the knot this past May, and with Mark Hamill officiating – none the less. How much nerdier can you get? Not much, and we loved it!

“The Bow Tie Asymmetry” – TBBT‘s season 11 finale – makes it to this list because it gives us emotional payoff that is long overdue, and in the nerdiest way possible. This is a TV wedding that won’t be soon forgotten.

The Big Bang Theory will return from winter hiatus on January 10, 2019, at 8/7c on CBS.

Arrow – Olicity Reunited

Tumblr: oliverfelicitygifs

Olicity fans have waited a long time for the reunion of Oliver and Felicity. The capture of Diaz and Laurel and Oliver’s subsequent release from prison in a trade makes us and Felicity scream with joy!

Felicity’s “Oliver’s coming home?” will always drop us into a puddle of feels, making “The Slabside Redemption” make it to this list.

Arrow will return from winter hiatus on January 21, 2019, at 8/7c on The CW.

This Is Us – The Nicky Bombshell

Tumblr: livelovecaliforniadreams

This Is Us always finds ways to pull at our hearts and keep us guessing. This season has been no different with the introduction of Jack’s brother, Nicky. What we didn’t know is that Nicky has a secret not even his brother knew about. Talk about a cliffhanger, This Is Us!

Nicky’s alive! We have so many questions about this and how Jack didn’t know his brother was alive. This is definitely a moment that puts “The Beginning Is the End Is The Beginning” on this list. There are other amazing moments in the episode like Tess coming out to Randall and Beth, Kate and Toby finding out the gender of their baby (It’s a boy!), and a tease about Rebecca’s future at the end that has us all wondering where the season will go. However, that bombshell about Nicky being alive all this time just takes the cake!

This Is Us will return from winter hiatus on January 15, 2019, at 9/8c on NBC.

12 Monkeys – The Series Finale

Tumblr: kbbey

The series finale of 12 Monkeys is just sheer perfection. It’s the way a TV series should end. That’s why it’s on this list.

It gave a “happily ever now” to Cassie and Cole, an ending that could have been so very different than what we got. Thank you, showrunners. We are forever in your debt.

There are many final shots the show could’ve had, and the showrunners decided to stay with the iconic red leaf, noting that it was the perfect image to end on. With that, we must agree! Sheer perfection all around!

Supernatural – The “Scoobynatural” Episode

Tumblr: mygreeneyedhunter

The “Scoobynatural” episode of Supernatural is one of the best things we’ve seen on TV this year. It was a much anticipated episode, and it did not disappoint.

The whole thing combined our childhoods and what makes Supernatural the phenomenon it is. This is a classic episode that we plan on rewatching for years and years to come!

Supernatural will return from winter hiatus on January 17, 2019, at 8/7c on The CW.

The Good Place – All of Season 3!

Tumblr: kateshephrds

Season 3 of The Good Place is just phenomenal! We love it so much that we have to include the whole season on this list. Every episode brings a new twist, a new turn that always leaves us with a feeling of hope in our chests and excitement for the next episode.

These characters are ones that we can’t help but love and cheer for. That’s why this show makes it to this list! Also, YAY for Season 4! That news makes us very happy to know we will see Eleanor, Chidi, Michael, Janet, Tahani, and Jainyu again!

The Good Place will return from winter hiatus on January 10, 2019 at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.

The Flash – Iris Jumps Off a Building to Save Barry

Tumblr: westallengifs

When Iris jumps off a building in “All Doll’d Up”, we had the WestAllen feels galore! I mean, here’s a woman without any powers of her own jumping off a building to save her husband, who just happens to be The Flash, not knowing if she’ll make it out alive, that’s pure heart and a true heroine. We love Iris West-Allen!

And we would like to add Nora’s reaction to it. “That’s beyond schway!” We couldn’t agree with Nora more! Schway has made a permanent home in our vocabulary.

The Flash will return from winter hiatus January 15, 2019, at 8/7c on The CW.

These are just a few of the TV moments that have captured our hearts this year. Something we miss? Let us know!

Currently a writer for The Resident, but I have many interests that include country music, fantasy and science fiction movies. I'm just your typical southern girl who was raised by a single dad. A Chris Wood and Matt Czuchry fangirl forever.
