So, the one question I have is, did you watch football to catch it live or did you just wait for it to pop up online?
Watching football is anything but a chore for me, but I understand it is for a lot of people. And yet, this is Star Wars! And this is the last trailer for the last movie of the Skywalker saga. We might get more movies set in this universe, but one way or another, this is the end of an era.
Yes, I’m getting emotional. I’m not ashamed. STAR WARS. I grew up on Star Wars. I spent hours on end discussing the minute points of it, from the existence of midichlorians to the dumbass reason Padme died, with my late father. There’s so much history, so much love for me in this saga.
And no, that doesn’t mean it’s all perfect. It doesn’t mean we can’t criticize what came before, or what’s coming in December. It’s just that, right now, I want to bask. I’ll put on my critic hat later. Right now, I’m only a fan:
The trailer, which you can check out below, once again gives us a glimpse at the final battle, and our favorite heroes, new and old. Who will survive? Who will prevail? We have some ideas, but we’ll have to wait a few months still for the certainty.
