The long awaited trailer for Captain Marvel has dropped, and we’re excited. No, we’re OVER THE MOON. Brie Larson stars in the movie as Carol Danvers, a former US Air Force fighter pilot who becomes one of the Earth’s most powerful heroes, and gets caught in a galactic war between two alien species.
It’s okay, we’re okay. We’re not dying of feels over here.
The official synopsis reads: “Set in the mid-1990s, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.”
Captain Marvel is set in the MCU, but the film will take place in the 90’s, prior to the rest of the Marvel universe films, which explains some familiar faces looking hella young. The trailer debuted this morning on Good Morning America.
