I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, Timeless is the show that won’t quit. This is the fandom that absolutely will not give up. And that’s why we’re here now.
And by here I mean, with two new episodes to look forward to on December 20th – remember, tune in LIVE at 8/7c on NBC – and with the sense that this isn’t really the end. How can it be when every day it seems people discover this gem of a show, when every day fans are online making noise and when they do things like this: two fan-funded billboards in Times Square to get new viewers to catch up on Hulu and promote the two-hour movie event.
Here at Fangirlish, we’re not calling it a finale, because we’re not giving up.
And – after you look at these images from the NY clockblockers meet-up, you should get why we won’t. Have you ever seen anything like this fandom?
Boy, does it look like everyone braved the cold to be there. Our fandom heroes!
And, you know who hasn’t seen anything like this fandom before? The actors involved with the show! Malcolm Barrett showed up, close to midnight, to see the billboards, and yes, he found clockblockers waiting for him …and a completely fan-funded ad playing On two freaking billboards in Times Square.
Let me repeat that: THERE WAS A TIMELESS AD IN TIMES SQUARE, AND FANS GOT IT THERE.
What? That deserved all caps. Malcolm agrees with me, I promise. Look at his reaction:
I don’t know what life experience’ll surpass seeing a fan-bought billboard of MY show in my HOMETOWN in TIMES SQUARE but whatever it is I ain’t ready.@TimelessSPTV is back 11/20 on @nbc for a 2-hour movie.
…and so is the hero in a hoodie.

And he wasn’t the only one who showed up! Sakina Jaffrey was there as well, and she spent some time with clockblockers, talking about how awesome it was to be part of Timeless, and thanking them for all their efforts:
I just got a chance to watch this. ❤ When we gave Sakina the presents ❤❤❤❤ #Timeless #savetimeless pic.twitter.com/Ti9yvxZ27k

What clockblockers have done – all they have done, is because this cast, these writers, this show deserves it. And this is another example of why.
There was also Abigail Spencer, who tried to get to the billboards, she was just a little late:
I’m sad I missed the billboard yesterday! I stopped by today but it was already on to this one. Thank you again #Timeless fans & fandom. So sweet & in awe of you continually! @TimelessSPTV ??? pic.twitter.com/3Gy8ctiiZm

But the message was out there, even if not everyone could see it live. A message of dedication, a message of love. A message of a fandom that won’t back down and won’t give up. The end? No. This feels just like the beginning.
Can’t stop. Won’t stop.
If you didn’t get a chance to see the billboards, here’s the video that played for 24 hours. We won’t judge you if you play it on a loop. We have.
The Timeless two-hour movie event airs December 20th at 8/7c on NBC.
