NCIS: Hawai’i 3×09 “Spill the Tea” is the first part of the 2-part Season 3 finale and now, apparently, because CBS and the world are equally unfair, the series finale for the show. We don’t know what the two episodes we have yet to see have in store for us, but we know for sure they cannot possibly be enough to fill in all the blanks or to answer all the questions we have.
And they, of course, will never give us all we want from these characters because we want so much more. Seasons worth. We want to see Jane Tennant’s backstory play out in full. We want to meet Jesse’s wife. We want to see Lucy and Kate get married and have to deal with their respective families. We want to see Ernie and Commander Chase fall in love! We want to see Kai find love too. And we want to much more of this family that these characters have built together. We’re getting none of that. And it hurts.
