The Pitt is a medical drama set in a busy hospital in Pittsburgh, and we spend most of the time in the ER with Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle), plus the residents, interns, and medical students he supervises. Unlike similar shows, you get a slightly more “real time” view since each episode is an hour of a 15-hour shift. Oh, and Dr. Robby is also dealing with the anniversary of his mentor’s death during the early days of COVID-19…so, expect some really emotional moments on top of, well, all the ones medical emergencies can cause.

This totally-not-ER show starring Noah Wyle still very much reminds us why we loved ER…starring Noah Wyle.

The Pitt Season 2 Episode 13 is rough for Dr. Mohan. Her devastation, like a lot of this hour’s big moments, is the result of systemic rot.

The Pitt Season 2 Episode 12 is as strong as any hour yet, as the series continues to push everyone to their emotional limit.

The Pitt Season 2 Episode 8 shows how much we take readily-available tech for granted and continues to tell stories that center patient care.

The Pitt Season 2 Episode 7 boasts an embarrassment of riches, but all of that pales in comparison to Dana’s care for a SA survivor.

In The Pitt Season 2 Episode 6 PTMC’s staff deals with a gutting loss. The hour, which puts nurses front and center, is the show at its best.
