Wynonna Earp‘s Wynonna is a survivor. Doesn’t matter what comes her way or who tries to stop her, she always ends up on top. And I know we don’t know what she does on her spare time, besides drinking and a romp in the bedroom, but I’ve got to believe that she sets aside some time for some light reading. (Or I hope she does.) After all, reading manages to save the day in real life. Why not on Wynonna Earp?
1. The First and Second Books of Adam and Eve: The Conflict With Satan
Why: Everything that happened with Eve is far from over. So why not get to know Eve and the possible ramifications of what happened to her once she was trapped in The Garden. Might be a bit of lying involved, because Eve is batshit crazy, but still a good starting point to the next big bad.
2. You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life
Why: Now, you’re probably thinking, Wynonna already knows she’s a badass. Well, everyone needs a little pick me up sometimes. And trust me, this is the book that you need in your life when you need that pick me up. Plus, Waverly isn’t going to be around all the time to give her that pep talk. A girl sometimes needs to know how to give herself one!
3. Rafe (Texas Boudreau Brotherhood Book 1)
Why: Wynonna is definitely going to need something to get her mind off of everything having in Purgatory. And knowing what she likes in real life, I believe she would read trashy romance novels for fun. So what if she maybe replaces the woman with herself and the cowboy with Doc. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do for some good and clean entertainment.
4. The Year-Round Vegetable Gardener: How to Grow Your Own Food 365 Days a Year, No Matter Where You Live
Why: Shits going down in Purgatory and god only knows when the last shipment of any kind of decent food was delivered. And with how cold it is? Oh girl. Wynonna Earp and the rest of the gang are in for some rough times. Maybe a book like this will help them survive the cold and the danger that Eve has set and ready for them.
5. The Official MacGyver Survival Manual: 155 Ways to Save the Day
Why: Wynonna is a badass who knows how to survive. But even she needs a little top of MacGyver-esque information to keep her creative and on her toes. I imagine this book would be hidden in a night stand for light reading. After all, she has a family to protect and to not let down. But she wouldn’t let anyone to find out that she had THIS goober on the cover of it. Trust me, click the link and see for yourself…
Wynonna Earp airs Sundays at 10/9c on SYFY.
