Living your life in the public eye isn’t an easy thing. You open yourself up to a lot of scrutiny and judgement.
I for one could not live my life like that.
For Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart she has chosen to live her life in the public eye and it can’t be easy. But she takes every moment seriously, aims to make a difference, and live her life as honestly as possible.
The actress was recently speaking to Flaunt and talked about her decision to come out as bisexual.
“I knew full well that I was attracted to women from a young age,” she said to Flaunt. “I felt that since I’ve exclusively been in hetero-normative relationships, it would be too easy for any outsider, especially the media, to vilify me and accuse me of faking it to get attention. That’s not something I wanted to deal with. But to my close friends, and those in my life, my bisexuality has been no secret.”
She really owes no one an explanation about her sexuality and the fact that anyone would accuse her of faking it to get attention is just beyond wrong.
“Although I’ve never announced it publicly before, I am a proud bisexual woman,” Lili posted back in June on her Instagram.
We admire Lili and are thankful for her openness and know that doing things like that saves and changes lives. People want to know they aren’t alone.
