‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’: 5 Moments That Made Us Go “Hell No!”

The Haunting of Bly Manor, the follow-up to The Haunting of Hill House, looks just as creepy as it’s predecessor! Like Hill House it tells the story of the living and dead that inhabit Bly Manor. Starring many familiar faces, from Kate Siegel to Victoria Predietti, we’re excited to return to this world of horror, heart, and family. So, without further ado, here are 5 moments from the trailer for The Haunting of Bly Manor that made us go, “Hell no!”

1. Finding a random doll in the basement…

There’s nothing wrong with finding a creepy doll at the end of the laundry shoot in your basement, while a whole stack of dolls rest off to the side. Nothing here to see people. Move along….OR RUN ALONG; as I would do if I saw this in my basement. Big ol’ nope train, passenger of 1!

2. That doll moving by itself…

If you thought that first doll was creepy then you are about to loose it completely. If you look close, right after the light is turned off, one of the dolls in the middle of the stack moves. And I’m not talking about it moving its head. This is a full body shift that lifts up its head. No thank you, please.

3. The lady in the lake…

Imagine just chilling, taking a little walk near the lake by your house, and you see this shit?! If it were day time I’d think it was a mermaid. But nope. It’s a foggy and creepy night and there is something so creepy and wrong about this appearing in the water like something out of my worst nightmare.

4. This three for one creep show…

I don’t know what’s opening the doll house. I don’t know who that creeper is in the hallway. And I don’t know who the lady of the lake is. But what I do know is that I didn’t deserve this three for one creep show that will stick with me until The Haunting Of Bly Manor premieres.

5. This little girl shushing a creature…

I want to have the strength this little girl has. Not only did she not freak out at something unfurling itself behind her, she shushed it. That little thing shushed whatever creeper haunts Bly Manor like I would shush a rude kid if I were a teacher. The bravery just makes me want to watcheven more as well!

The Haunting of Bly Manor comes out October 9th on Netflix.
