The A Discovery Of Witches season finale is so close! It seems incredible that the season is ending. This season finale feels calmer and slower than previous episodes. It’s like coming full circle on some things, and starting a new chapter. Bishmont have managed to overcome all their fears and their demons to be more united than ever … and receive an unexpected visit, while in the present Ysabeau and Marcus strive to keep their family safe, even if the members of said family don’t make it easy for them. Here we go!
Like every week, here we bring you our preview video (the last preview video) of A Discovery Of Witches, this time the season finale. You know the rules but we tell you our rating, favorite scene and general impression of the episode. And, although there are some disagreements, there are not as many as we had at the beginning.
As you can see, we disagree with the overall impression of the episode, while Lyra and Raquel are at opposite ends, Lizzie is in the middle, thinking that they are both right about different things. As for rating, the same thing happens. A 7, Lyra? Come on! We love her like that but … a 7 is too low! As for the favorite scenes, with our Raquel there are no surprises: the intense scene always wins, although this time it is not so intense and it is more emotional. But the ones that surprise us are our Lyra and Lizzie, we did not expect them to choose those scenes but yes, we agree that they are wonderful.
Bishmont really feel like a team, like nothing and no one can separate them. They are in this together and they both behave accordingly. The family scenes are so tender and in the end so heartbreaking … because it’s always hard to leave behind what you’ve come to love and Matthew and Diana have grown to love their lives in the past and the family they have built there.
By the way, Matthew’s proud looks may be the hottest looks we’ve ever seen him. Diana keeps trying to finish her training while an unexpected visitor turns her world upside down but … it’s just what she needed. That meeting makes her find a peace that she had long been waiting to feel.
In the future, things get more and more stressful. Emily is still determined to get to talk to Rebecca at any cost, while Marcus gets to learn what it means to be in charge of so many lives and save them all with Ysabeau’s invaluable help … but his enemies grow closer and closer.
And now we are going to cry to a corner trying to make the waiting for season 3 pass quickly.
