The jury’s still out on that one because as it stands, our excitement over seeing our favorite trickster God again is pretty off the charts. Bring on Loki Season 2!
And, especially, bring it on at an hour that works for everyone, instead of …you know, at 3 AM in the morning. Who decided midnight PT was a good time to release things, anyway? We’re glad Disney+ is seeing the light on this one, just like Apple TV+ has done. Hopefully, other streamers follow suit.
Maybe it’s that we know Loki. Maybe it’s that we really enjoyed Season 1. Perhaps it’s Tom Hiddleston, who feels like he’s dragging us back to the times when everything Marvel did, we enjoyed. Either way, can it be October 5th yet?
Not that anyone needed more reasons to be excited, but hearing Hiddleston himself talk about Season 2 really has us counting the days. It is what it is.
“Loki” Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.
Marvel Studios’ “Loki” Season 2 stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, with Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan and Owen Wilson.
Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2 launches exclusively on Disney+ at 6:00 P.M. PT on Thursday, October 5. All subsequent episodes will also be available starting Thursdays at 6:00 P.M. PT.
