NCIS Season 23, Episode 17 ‘Reboot’ brings back Sam Hanna and presumably sets the stage for the newest show in the NCIS franchise, which we now know is coming in the fall. And truly, is anyone surprised Sam Hanna is coming back? LL Cool J clearly feels at home in this franchise, and it didn’t seem like he wanted to say goodbye.
How that ties into what the team at NCIS is doing, we don’t know. Well, other than it seems like they’ll have their hands full with a mystery this episode. Not that we think Sam is actually involved in any way. But we won’t complain about this episode maybe setting up a new version of NCIS in the Big Apple if it means we get some updates about the LA team. And maybe… Sam’s family? Plus, there are some big loose ends with Hetty that we would love to tie up.
And yes, Sam, you really should have called.
