What do we love about Lewis Pullman? Well, there are a lot of things. There is his role in Top Gun: Maverick. There is the way that Kaia Gerber talks about him. There is him talking openly about his mental health journey. There is the way he half-smiles. The curls in his hair. His roles in Remarkably Bright Creatures, Lessons in Chemistry, and Wishful Thinking.
You get the point – there are a lot of reasons to love Lewis Pullman.
The actor is returning to television, and that is another reason to love him. The actor will be starring opposite Julia Garner in Guilty Creatures, a thriller drama from director Craig Gillespie. The series will be adapted by Sarah DeLappe from Mikita Brottman’s true-crime book Guilty Creatures: Sex, God, and Murder in Tallahassee, Florida.
It “delves into the psyche of a torrid romance and subsequent act of murder between two young, adulterous but God-fearing lovers — believed to be played by Garner and Pullman — unraveling their complex lives and the emotional toll of living as killers for 18 years.”
Tomorrow Studios developed the series and sold it to Apple. Stuart Zicherman will serve as showrunner and executive producer.
Lewis Pullman and Julia Garner together in a series. We’re interested to see how this one plays out.
