If you miss Adrianne Palicki ever since her Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Orville days, you’re in luck. Palicki is returning to the small screen but in movie format in the new movie Due West. And you can win a free copy!
Debuting on digital and Video on Demand on July 28, 2026, Palicki stars as a woman traveling across Texas to receive urgent medical care following an unintended pregnancy, meeting a variety of roadblocks along the way. The film was shot on location in West Texas. And it had its world premiere at The Dallas International Film Festival in 2025, followed by Best Feature Film wins at the Burbank International Film Festival and El Paso Film Festival, as well as Best Texas Narrative at the Lonestar Film Festival.

“I’ve only been sure of two things in my life. The first, I knew I had to be an actor. The second, that I needed to be a part of Due West,” says Palicki. “When Evan [Miller]brought me the script, I was absolutely blown away. Due West handles a difficult topic in a thoughtful way. To see how many people have been touched by this film through the festival circuit, and how well received it has been, has blown me away.”
If you want to know a little bit more about this movie to enter the giveaway, it’s grounded in our reality when it comes to the laws that restrict the bodies of women. And according to the synopsis, this movie is about a small-town woman and her journey across an unforgiving terrain of West Texas. When her truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere, she’s forced to navigate a series of encounters with strangers, facing both compassion and exploitation. With time running out and her options narrowing, she takes control of her future in the only way left to her.

Due West also stars Henry Thomas (E.T., Legends of the Fall), Ciara Bravo (Cherry, Small Engine Repair), Matt Lauria (Friday Night Lights, Sheriff Country) and Odette Annable (Cloverfield, The Unborn). And the film is directed by Evan Miller, and written by Evan Miller and Hardy Janson.
