Tracy Spiridakos is set to return to our screens in USA Network’s Anna Pigeon. And whether you’re a fan of the Nevada Barr books this show is based on or if you’re coming from the Chicago P.D. fandom, there’s plenty to know about this Canadian actress.
Below we’ve put together a list of 7 TV shows and movies that Spiridakos has been in. Some you’ll be familiar with, like Chicago P.D. and Revolution. But some you might’ve never heard of like the thriller Kill for Me or the teen comedy series Majority Rules!. Either way, we’re here to celebrate Tracy Spiridakos’ work!
1. Chicago P.D. (2017-2024)
When it comes to the roles that Spiridakos has played, Chicago P.D. might be her most popular one. In the NBC series she plays Hailey Upton, a detective that entered the police drama in Season 4. She was on the show for 141 episodes and guest starred in the other One Chicago shows like Chicago Med and Chicago Fire.
People loved Hailey because she was broken yet brave, had complicated yet frustrating things happen to her that developed her character, and of course the ship Upstead. Bonus points that she left the show and is in a real-life relationship with Jesse Lee Soffer, who played her on screen romantic interest and then husband Jay Halstead.

2. Revolution (2012-2014)
Before Chicago P.D., Spiridakos played Charlie Matheson in the dystopian NBC series Revolution. And this time around, instead of dealing with cop drama week after week, her character lived in a world there was a permanent global blackout 15 years ago. A group of revolutionaries seek to drive out a tyrannical militia that’s taken over the former United States of America.
Charlie is the heroine of the story. But she’s also pretty inexperienced, having grown up in a peaceful village built after the blackout. When Charlie does get out there into the world she faces real danger, gets into some memorable fights, and protects those she cares about. But be warned, this one was cancelled and ended on a cliffhanger.
3. Majority Rules! (2009-2011)
While doing research for this list, this might’ve been the best find in Spiridakos’ filmography. She played Becky Richards in the teen comedy Majority Rules! And it tells the story about a girl who runs for mayor in her town. Originally airing on the Canadian cable network Teletoon, a lot of the episodes are actually available on YouTube. And it’s kind of jarring to watch someone who has played someone like Upton on Chicago P.D. play a determined, bright, and funny young woman. It’s very much reminding us of our Lizzie McGuire days.
4. Kill for Me (2013)
As someone who loves queer cinema, this was also a delight to find in Spiridakos filmography. But that’s where the delight ends because Kill for Me is pretty dark. In the thriller she plays Hayley Jones with Katie Cassidy playing Amanda Rowe. They’re roommates with abusive men in their past. And they consider murder as an option to help get rid of both of their problems. Expect some triggering scenes, kisses like the one below, and manipulation. Like seriously, this one’s a lot.

5. Goblin (2010)
Yes, Spiridakos has done horror. And if you look at the IMDb poster, yes, Goblin is cheesy looking too. In the film, the actress plays Nikki Perkins, a rebellious teenager. Her family comes to this small town to develop it. And they’re warned by the locals of a town curse that will put their family in danger. They of course ignore it and face a goblin on Halloween. Like I said, cheesy. But you should totally watch for the terrible CGI of the goblin and Spiridakos driving a spear through it with a car.
6. The Boy She Met Online (2010)
Like Majority Rules!, The Boy She Met Online is available on YouTube. But instead of a TV show, it’s a Lifetime movie about the dangers of meeting people online. Spiridakos plays Cami Winters, the teenage girl at the center of this movie. She falls madly in love with someone claiming to be a college student that she met online. To make things worse, he was in prison and she’s not telling her mom. On par for a Lifetime movie. But it goes to show you that Spiridakos has range.

7. MacGyver (2016-2017)
Even though Spiridakos’ run on MacGyver was short, it was memorable. She played Nikki Carpenter, a former girlfriend of the lead, who works for a clandestine organization and relies on his unconventional problem-solving skills to save lives. Nikki was an undercover CIA operative who previously worked as a hacker for a super secret government agency. She’s highly skilled, not afraid to go for what she wants, and will totally hold her ex at gunpoint to make a point.
