What Is Cupertino About?
Cupertino brings “David vs. Goliath” energy to the Silicon Valley-set legal drama. Mike Colter stars as “a lawyer who is being cheated out of his stock options by his former employer.” He teams up with a recently-fired attorney, played by Rachel Keller. Together, they decide “to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley.” Their quest for justice takes center stage in Cupertino’s teaser trailer released in July.

Who Is Starring in the Show?
Colter was the first to board Cupertino as Michael Price. He stars opposite Rachel Keller as Olivia Siffre. Ella Stiller also has a series regular role as Christy Palladino and Nik Dodani does as Vikram Malhotra.
The cast also includes two Girls5Eva cast members, with Busy Philipps as Natalia Boutella and Renée Elise Goldsberry as Nichole E. Ferebee. Deadline exclusively reported in February that Rob McClure, Joe Morton, and Steven Pasquale are among Cupertino’s recurring guest stars.
Under their King Size Productions banner, Robert and Michelle King serve as executive producers and co-showrunners of Cupertino. Robert King directed the legal drama’s first episode. Liz Glotzer and Sam Hoffman also serve as executive producers for the show. CBS Studios produces.

Is There a Trailer for the Legal Drama?
CBS released a Cupertino trailer in September – a month out from the show’s premiere. The two-minute video shows Colter’s Michael and Keller’s Olivia at work at what Michael calls “Price and Siffre.” They take on “law suits no one else will,” which causes quite a stir in Silicon Valley.
They fight against AI drones, chatbots, and more. Price and Siffre are up against the Magnificent Seven – big companies that are surveilling the new law firm’s work. As Olivia says, “They don’t even expect the small people to try to stop them.” In Cupertino, they do try. Now, as Michael mentions, it’s about winning.

When Does Cupertino Premiere?
The legal drama will make its series debut on Thursday, October 8, at 10/9c on CBS. Joe Morton and Steven Pasquale are set to guest star in Cupertino’s series premiere, written by Robert King & Michelle King and directed by Robert King.
The description for Cupertino Season 1, Episode 1, “Michael & Olivia,” reads as follows:
Cupertino stars Mike Colter and Rachel Keller as lawyers Michael Price and Olivia Siffre, who are wrongfully terminated from a tech start-up. Michael and Olivia join forces to form their own law firm to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths of Silicon Valley. Also, Michael’s former assistant, Christy Palladino, uses her close-knit family connections to help the firm in its inception.
