It’s official! CBS’s Sheriff Country and Fire Country are giving us another crossover in their upcoming seasons. This is exciting because we loved their first one and have been wondering if we’ll see everyone together again. Last time, we got to see Mickey, Sharon, and their teams save teenagers being held hostage by petty landowners. And we got to see Boone and Bode bond over overcoming fears and danger after escaping an underground bunker.
Overall, we got to see how each group was motivated by love for each other and their people to be the heroes we believe first responders always are. So, what can we expect this time around? Synopsis
Sheriff Country Season 2, Episode 5 ‘No Way In’ will start the crossover first at 8PM EST on November 6th, 2026. The synopsis reads: “When a dangerous prison break escalates into a volatile hostage crisis, Sheriff Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin) must make a high-stakes decision with personal consequences that could change the course of the case and put lives on the line.” Guest stars include Max Thieriot, Kevin Alejandro, and Jules Latimer.
Fire Country Season 5, Episode 5 ‘No Way Out’ will follow at 9PM EST. The synopsis is: When escaped convicts trigger a dangerous manhunt, Bode (Thieriot) and the Station 42 crew join forces with Sheriff Mickey Fox and her deputies to protect their loved ones and the community caught in the crossfire.” Guest stars include Morena Baccarin, Matt Lauria, Michele Weaver, Ian Quinlan, and Amanda Arcuri.

What To Expect
Showrunner Matt Lopez teases that the big emergency that’ll unite both departments will occur on the day Edgewater experiences a spectacular windstorm and fire event. When criminals go on the loose, Sheriff Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin) and Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro) will clash heads once tasked to unite their teams in the rescue and recovery effort. Especially once things become personal.
Season 2 of Sheriff Country premieres on Friday, October 9th, 2026, at 8PM EST. Season 5 of Fire Country follows at 9PM EST.
