The Pitt is a medical drama set in a busy hospital in Pittsburgh, and we spend most of the time in the ER with Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle), plus the residents, interns, and medical students he supervises. Unlike similar shows, you get a slightly more “real time” view since each episode is an hour of a 15-hour shift. Oh, and Dr. Robby is also dealing with the anniversary of his mentor’s death during the early days of COVID-19…so, expect some really emotional moments on top of, well, all the ones medical emergencies can cause.

This totally-not-ER show starring Noah Wyle still very much reminds us why we loved ER…starring Noah Wyle.
