Inspired by Julia Quinn's books, Bridgerton brings romance to the Regency era, with each season being led by a Bridgerton sibling finding their Happily Ever After. The Netflix series has reached astronomical success since its debut season, starring Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page as Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset, in 2020. The second season followed the love story of firstborn Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley). The third did so for Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), aka the gossip writer Lady Whistledown, voiced by Julie Andrews. The fourth season sees Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) step into the leading role opposite Yerin Ha as Sophie Baek. With a fifth and sixth season already renewed, Bridgerton's corner of romance TV reigns.
