Not really too sure how much we want the Charmed reboot to move full steam ahead, because like we’re loyal as fuck to the original series (yes, even with all it’s issues). That being said – we know that The CW is moving full steam ahead with the reboot.
And we finally have a cast member.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle‘s Ser’Darius Blain, has been cast as Galvin, the aspiring filmmaker and “ideal boyfriend” of Macy. Who is Macy? Well she is one of the yet-to-be-cast Charmed sisters. Her sisters names will be Mel and Madison.
The reboot of Charmed is being written by Jane the Virgin‘s Jessica O’Toole and Amy Rardin. It’s being described as a “feminist” reboot, but I personally think that the original was feminist as fuck.
The reboot of Charmed will be one of the 9 pilots vying for a spot in The CW’s fall lineup. Do you want to see it?
