We’re looking forward to the reboot of Charmed – having seen the pilot at San Diego Comic Con, we can tell you that it is really good. We have to admit that we wondered how it would be, since the original series was perfection, and we were glad we enjoyed it.
With a new cast in this incantation, you of course have to wonder what original cast thinks about the reboot.
“I wish that they would have come to us and we would have been involved since the beginning,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “But having said that, I do hope that it reaches the newer generation and impacts that generation the way ours was able to do for its generation.”
Shannon Doherty had previously spoken out about the reboot. “Perhaps with the backlash they will be more thoughtful in the future,” she tweeted, adding, “I love Charmed. I also want it to be respected. I’m simply choosing to be constructive about it because negativity has no place in my life.”
While nothing will ever be the original, we are looking forward to watching the reboot this season. Are you?
