The shows must indeed go on, and for theatre fans, the show will go on, thanks to YouTube!
Starting today, April 3, THE SHOWS MUST GO ON YouTube Channel will make available a selection of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musicals, starting with JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT.
The 2000 adaptation, inspired by the West End production, stars Donny Osmond, Maria Friedman, Richard Attenborough and Joan Collins. The fan-favorite includes mega hits Close Every Door to Me, Go Go Go Joseph and Any Dream Will Do.
Each show will be available weekly at 11:00AM PT/2:00PM ET for a limited 48-hour period online – no charge or sign up required – giving fans of musical theatre an opportunity to enjoy beloved shows, from their living rooms.
The second production to be made available will be legendry rock classic, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (2012) ,the arena production starring Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Chris Moyles, which will be made available on Good Friday, April 10.

And the good news is we won’t only get the full-length shows, but BTS footage and clips of famous performances, available for free.
I don’t know about you, but I’m excited! We all need something to hold onto these days, and spending the quarantine singing at the top of my lungs doesn’t seem like a bad deal to me.
