I love Lili Reinhart, I do. But to be honest, I don’t always like the comments she makes. I mean, who always likes comments anyone makes?
Lili is in Vancouver right now shooting Riverdale (which I freely admit that I don’t watch and have no desire to watch) and she had this to say:
“I genuinely feel like a prisoner, going back to work, because I cannot leave Canada. That doesn’t feel good,” Lili told Nylon. “You can’t go home for Thanksgiving, can’t visit your family. No one can come visit you unless they quarantine for two weeks. It just feels fucked.”
Look, I get it. We’re all lonely. We all want to be doing a million other things. But we aren’t prisoners. We’re doing what we can for the greater good.
“I’m very lucky, but it’s like, ‘I need to keep going. I need to keep going,’” she added, about not being able to work on other things during hiatuses.
We all do Lili. Like the world is suffering.
I am all for voicing your opinions, healthy conversation, and expressing yourself. But I personally feel like saying you feel like a prisoner because of the pandemic is a little dramatic.
But hey, what do I know?
