TIME announced their final four candidates for 2020 Person of Year on the Today show.
The names of the candidates are Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Frontline Health Care Workers and Dr. Anthony Fauci and The Movement for Racial Justice.
Our shortlist for a winner for 2020 Person of the Year would either be Frontline Health Care Workers and Dr. Anthony Fauci or The Movement for Racial Justice. Both were huge factors this year – we all know that.
Covid has ravaged the world and so many health care workers, along with Fauci, have been on the frontlines and the leading voices on how to fight the pandemic. Not that a stupid idiotic President ever takes their advice. They are sacrificing everything – their very lives – so we can all live to see another day.
The Movement for Racial Justice is another huge movement that happened this year. It was sparked by the murder of George Floyd and has continued across the globe. People have taken to the streets in droves demanding action for racial injustice and changes to our country and systemic racism.
One person who shouldn’t win – Donald Trump. What has he done for this country except taken it and literally lit it on fire? He is a horrid human being and we can’t believe he was even considered to be on the list.
The 2020 Person of the Year will be announced 12/9 during a TIME Person of the Year broadcast special on NBC at 10 p.m. ET.
