Marvel Studios has just announced a new documentary series, titled ASSEMBLED. The series will feature behind-the-scenes specials that let us see how the MCU’s shows and movies were made. Marvel Studios has been dropping new content on Disney+ consistently with WandaVision, Marvel Studios LEGENDS, and “Marvel’s 616,” and if we’re being honest, we’ve been waiting for an announcement like this one. We are always eager to take a look behind the curtain with the MCU.
ASSEMBLED will have interviews with the filmmakers and stars of upcoming projects like Black Widow and Loki. The corresponding episodes of ASSEMBLED will arrive on Disney+ shortly after theatrical releases and series completions. No one can be spoiled that way! It’s also a smart way to keep fans engaged between projects.

These Disney+ series and the films that started the MCU are so huge that it makes sense Marvel Studios would have plenty of behind-the-scenes footage to share with fans. It’s almost like Marvel has been teasing this since WandaVision‘s premiere, with the small featurettes. This isn’t the first time Disney has released a documentary series like this, either. Disney Gallery / Star Wars: The Mandalorian is one that’s fully dedicated to the making of that series.
The first episode of ASSEMBLED is dedicated to WandaVision, the most watched TV series in the world according to Forbes. It will premiere a week after the series’ finale. It debuts in the only Friday slot between WandaVision‘s finale and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s premiere. Marvel Studios is keeping the content coming in 2021!
