As we learn more and more news about the upcoming Marvel shows on Disney+, Fangirlish wants to make it easier for the franchise fans to get up to date on all the things they need to know. This biweekly round-up includes some of the biggest and most fun news from the last two weeks about all of our upcoming favorite Marvel Studios shows, like WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Loki.
WandaVision
WandaVision is nominated for a handful of 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards. It’s nominated for Best Show. Elizabeth Olsen is nominated for Best Performance in a Show. Teyonah Parris is nominated for Best Hero. Kathryn Hahn is nominated for Best Villain. Finally, Wanda vs. Agatha is up for Best Fight. Voting is open now and will be until April 30.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
We’ll start with the basics. There are new Marvel Must Haves, posters, and TV spots. While you’re on Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube channel, you should check out the Zemo cut. It’s an entire hour of him dancing in Madripoor. Speaking of, there’s a new website where you can explore Madripoor. It was originally presented as an ad on Marvel.com.
There are more behind-the-scenes photos and videos on Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie‘s Instagrams if you’re looking for that peek behind the curtain. Julia Louis-Dreyfus took to Twitter to celebrate her introduction to the MCU. She also spoke with Marvel.com about all things Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, but not spoilery things, of course.
Finally, TFATWS is nominated for two 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards. Anthony Mackie is up for Best Hero as Sam Wilson. Mackie and Sebastian Stan are nominated for Best Duo. Voting is open now and will be until April 30.
Loki
There’s not much to relay for Loki yet. With this round-up going up the same week as TFATWS‘ season finale, we have a feeling there will be more Loki news before we know it. Until then, you can order a copy of Empire Magazine with Tom Hiddleston on the cover and an exclusive interview inside now.

Hawkeye
Like Loki, Jeremy Renner’s latest Instagram post may be a sign that we’ll be getting some more news about Hawkeye soon. Renner shared that he had wrapped on the series in the caption. We feel like we’ve been waiting a million years to see Kate Bishop in action, so we are excited to see that it looks like we are one day closer to that happening.
She-Hulk
We have more She-Hulk casting to relay! Deadline exclusively reported that Renée Elise Goldsberry (Girls5eva, Hamilton) is joining Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, and Tim Roth. Deadline reports that Goldsberry will play a character referred to as Amelia. There’s not much to go on with her character outside of that — a name. Do you think Goldsberry is playing a character from the comics, or do you think Amelia is an original character created for the Disney+ series? Let us know!
Secret Invasion
There are two massive casting developments for Secret Invasion. First, The Hollywood Reported exclusively shared that Olivia Colman (The Crown) is “in talks” to join the series. Then, Variety exclusively shared that Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) would be joining her, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, and Kingsley Ben-Adir. Both roles are being kept under wraps. This cast is making it harder and harder to wait for its premiere on Disney+. That’s unfortunate because Secret Invasion is one of the Disney+ shows furthest out.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
Last but certainly not least, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special script is finished! Writer and director of James Gunn took to Twitter to share the jolly good news. This is another project that is far away. Marvel.com has it slated for Holidays 2022. Regardless, it’s still exciting to think of what the Guardians may get up to around the holidays.
