Surviving the end of the world isn’t easy in Netflix’s all-new adventure Sweet Tooth. Stefania LaVie Owen and Dania Ramirez in particular have arcs that their characters go through that change them for the better. Owen plays Bear, a young woman who protects hybrids from those that seek to harm them. She kills and maims to protect. Ramirez’s Aimee also protects hybrids. She just does it a little different from Bear by actually raising them and treating them as her own.
Along the way, both of these characters find out the lengths they’re willing to go for those they love and how vehemently they oppose those who would cause hybrids harm. They are on a mission to prove to the world that there is some humanity left in a place where many believe it doesn’t exist anymore. And if it takes everything they are to achieve their goals, well that’s what’s going to happen.
Fangirlish got a chance to speak with Stefania LaVie Owen who plays Bear and Dania Ramirez who plays Aimee. Both spoke highly of their characters, explained a little more on what motivates them, and then went into what they’re willing to do for those they love and those they have dedicated themselves to in Sweet Tooth.
