As big fans of the NCIS franchise, particularly the first spin-off, NCIS: Los Angeles, we’re super excited about the possibilities for NCIS: Hawaii, the new, female-led spinoff. The show officially started production, and considering the show is called NCIS: Hawaii, they did it the only way they could, with a traditional Hawaiian blessing.
The ceremony was held on June 16 at Mokulē’Ia Beach on Oahu, and was attended by producers, crew as well as stars Vanessa Lachey, Noah Mills, Jason Antoon, Yasmine Al-Bustami and Tori Anderson.
No word yet on any crossover possibilities with the two existing shows, and NCIS: Hawaii did not get a backdoor Pilot during the last season, instead it was ordered straight to series, so it’s hard to tell what to expect from these characters, but I, for one, am excited to give this one a try.
NCIS: Hawaii will debut Mondays at 10/9, after NCIS.
