Tensions rise during Career Day at East High on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 2 Episode 8, “Most Likely To.” This event comes on the heels of the Wildcats’ visit to North High. That unapproved and unsupervised field trip is likely the reason why the Wildcats are temporarily benched from Beauty and the Beast rehearsal.
Career Day brings some issues to the surface as the Wildcats face their dreams and their futures. It looks like “Most Likely To” will build don’t on the tension between Ashlyn and Big Red as introduced on HSMTMTS Season 2 Episode 7, “The Field Trip.” Big Red is concerned that Ashlyn may not understand his dreams. It could be whatever Ashlyn has planned on her vision board doesn’t align with what Big Red wants.
Furthermore, “Most Likely To“ introduces Jacob Young as EJ’s father, who still doesn’t know EJ didn’t get into Duke. The truth will have to come out eventually, and no time is better than the present. Maybe there’s an opportunity for HSMTMTS to give us more Portwell if EJ looks to Gina for advice on how to break the news to his father.
