I bought all of Pink’s albums last night. Why? Because she is a boss and is there for others. I also love her music, so that’s a plus.
The singer reached out on social media to let Norway’s beach volleyball team that she supports them and would be willing to pay their fine that they were handed at the European Beach Handball Championships this past week.
Now why were they given a fine? Because they weren’t wearing bikini bottoms. Talk about some sexist shit.

“I’m VERY proud of the Norwegian female beach handball team FOR PROTESTING THE VERY SEXIST RULES ABOUT THEIR ‘uniform’,” Pink wrote in a tweet. “The European handball federation SHOULD BE FINED FOR SEXISM.”
The team was fined 150 euros a piece, for a total of 1500 euros.
“Good on ya, ladies. I’ll be happy to pay your fines for you. Keep it up.” she continued.
Now this is some sexist shit that the European Handball Federation has as rules. The rule says, “Female athletes must wear bikini bottoms… with a close fit and cut on an upward angle toward the top of the leg. The side width must be of a maximum of 10 centimeters.”
Like go fuck yourselves. I said what I said. Please let me know when men are subjected to sexist rules like this.
“I can confirm that the EHF will do all it can to ensure that a change of athlete uniform regulations can be implemented,” EHF President Michael Wiederer said in a statement. “Significant efforts will be made in order to further promote the sport in the best way possible for everyone, regardless of gender.”
This fine is bullshit, but so is this rule. Significant efforts is not good enough, major changes need to be made.
