Stranger Things is coming for our throats and feelings in the latest trailer for season 4 of the Netflix series. This time around there’s less Steve Harrington and more of Eleven, Will, Jonathan, and Joyce living in California. And from what we’re seeing…things aren’t going well for our favs as they enter Spring Break.
To help you get more excited for what’s to come on Stranger Things, we broke down the teaser and picked 5 things that you might’ve missed when it comes to season 4!
1. Eleven’s school project is about Hopper
No matter how much time has passed, Eleven still thinks about Hopper and the life they had together. And that’s absolutely evident in the school project that she made of Hopper and the home that they shared in the forest. He is her happy place and he will remain so forever. It also shows us that when she finds out he’s alive, she will come for him with every fiber of her being because he is her father.
2. Eleven has been captured and in a prison van
Look at the cover image of this Stranger Things post. Now look at the image below. Eleven is wearing matching clothes. This has to be after she was captured by these mysterious and suited bastards. She’s absolutely in the prison van that we see at another point in the trailer and if by the look on her face, she’s lost and thinks that there is no point in fighting to get out of the situation she’s in.
3. The first clues about Hopper have arrived
Note the multiple stamps on the package that Joyce receives. That box came from a long far away place. And the doll, that is dressed like a Polish or Russian babuska, is our first clue that Hopper is reaching out to his family. Or it could be that someone else, who is working to get Hopper out of the situation he’s in, wants to let his family and those who love him that he’s still out there. They just have to look and piece together the clues. And you know they will.
4. Someone is mortally wounded
Stranger Things is going to hurt us in season 4. We feel it in our bones and we see it on Mike and Will’s face. Our thought is that it’s Dustin. If it were Jonathan, Will would be the one really freaking out. And Lucas probably stayed behind to spend time with Max. That leaves Dustin. And we don’t want to think it, we love him, but it makes sense that something would need to happen to put that look on Mike’s face and the one on Eleven’s after she was captured.
5. A new player has entered the game
Earlier in the Stranger Things trailer there was a mysterious entrance surrounded by a couple army trucks and a helicopter. This is after they all arrived and after their men were absolutely destroyed. Our guess is that it’s Hopper and he somehow was brought back to the States. But what if it’s someone that escaped from the bad guys? What if it’s someone as powerful as Eleven who poses a threat? Whoever it is, we’re scareed!
Stranger Things season 4 premieres summer 2022.
