From speculation that their relationship is a PR stunt, to their separate careers, without forgetting the roast that will never get old, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are often on the news. Lately, they are especially on the news together, and not always for the best reasons. People love to speculate about them, and we all know the internet can be mean. So we’re super glad to see that, this time, it’s all good news.
Chopra and Jonas have welcomed their first baby, via surrogacy. Chopra announced the news via Instagram, and asked for privacy as they focus on their family.
Jonas also posted the same statement.
The reaction was quick, and not always positive. The internet, the kindest place in the world sometimes, and the worst at others, has questioned everything from their choice of surrogacy to their jokes at the infamous roast. To which we only have one thing to say:
Let them live their lives.
No, seriously. Let them. Just because they’re celebrities doesn’t mean we get any say in the decisions Chopra makes about her own body or the decisions she and Jonas make about their family. Celebrate their good news, or leave them alone because you don’t care. Either works.
Right now, the only thing they need to be thinking about is their family. And we, for one, wish them all the happiness in the world.
