There are very few writers that are as talented as Colleen Hoover. She writes books that make you feel, that make you happy and sad, that bring parts of you to life that you didn’t know existed.
There isn’t a book of hers that is bad.
And now, one of our favorites, Maybe Someday is getting the adaptation treatment. Our fangirl hearts could not be happier. Entertainment One Ltd. has closed a deal to bring the book to life in a series.
Colleen Hoover and Lauren Levine (Bridge to Terabithia) will executive produce. eOne will serve as the studio.
The series follows Sydney, a girl whose life is turned upside down by a breakup, her boyfriend having cheated on her with her best friend. She’s lost and attempting to navigate these new feelings and experiences in her life, when she meets a boy names Ridge and his roommates.
The series is described as a “contemporary Melrose Place,” and follows these characters as they attempt to navigate life and the Austin music scene.
We’re excited for Colleen and can’t wait to see the series come to life.
